Chalet Vithos, our flagship catered slope side property in the heart of the 3 valleys is designed to deliver the ultimate mountain experience.

The chalet is fully catered with a 2 course breakfast daily, 4 course evening meals, pairing wines with each evening course and afternoon tea served by our incredibly experienced chalet hosts, Sophie & Scott.

The terrace boasts views of the mountains with a hot tub and sauna available for use at your leisure. The indoor areas have an open fire, pool table, dart board, cinema set up and honesty bar to create the social atmosphere we aim to deliver at ActiveXplore on our ski getaways.

With people coming from far and wide, we're organising everything for you from Geneva airport and beyond. We'll transfer you up to the chalet from the airport and then we're straight into our week in the mountains.

New skier? Fear not. We've had extensive interest from people looking for their first ski trip, as well as those who are seasoned veterans so we've set up the option for you to book ski lessons if you'd wish.

The 3 valleys is unbelievably well connected, and we'll plan our weeks après activities out on the first night during our welcome meeting. If you aren't the strongest skier coming into the trip you'll always be able to get to where you need to be come 4pm (or potentially slightly earlier).

There is no itinerary, just a guide of where we'll aim to meet each day as we naturally split into ability groups as the week goes on. You're free to roam as you wish. Fancy a day off at the spa? That's ok too!

Chalet Vithos is based in Les Menuires, more specifically, Les Bruyeres which is around a 10 minutes walk from the centre of Les Menuires. We are right next door to a ski hire shop, restaurants, bars and supermarkets.

The main town of Les Menuires is where you'll find the nightlife, and with just a short walk across the piste you'll be in the madness that are the bars such as Le Challenge and La Mousse. In that area are a series of fantastic restaurants too. We'll head out for a meal on the Wednesday night so you'll have the opportunity to fill up with cheese to your hearts content.

You'll walk straight out of the chalet door and onto the piste, from there its a 30 second walk to the main gondola for the area putting you front and centre for all of the connecting pistes around the 3 valleys.

The transfer from Geneva airport is just over 2 hours by minibus.

Meet Sophie & Scott, our hosts in Les Menuires at Chalet Vithos.

With Sophie's extensive experience as a chef and Scott's years chalet hosting for a large mix of groups, they make up the team that'll look after everything Vithos for the social week.

As Les Menuires and 3 valleys veterans they know the area and our chalets like the backs of their hands and will be on hand around the chalet throughout the week should you wish to ask any questions, grab a quick bite or dip into the honesty bar.

Throughout the week Sophie will be preparing all of your food with Scott by her side for service and wine pairings as we eat and drink into the evening.

Sophie and Scott are fabulous hosts and the week was complete fantastic. Sophie’s cooking is quite frankly insanely good. Every meal and every course was absolutely superb and much better than even expensive restaurants. Scott was a great host too and his wine selection, focused on the best wines of South West France, was excellent and we are going to buy some of those wines when we get home. The positioning of the Chalet was amazing right by the lifts up, the shops and the bars so the kids could come right in after a day skiing. Overall top experience.
